 Description

Dear Christian Friend,

Since its beginnings nearly 2000 years ago, perhaps no event has had more impact on the church than the Reformation. In the simple act of hanging a paper of protest on the door of the local church, one man changed the course of history and re-established the Scriptures as the ultimate authority. That man was Martin Luther, and the document was his 95 Theses, hung on the door of All Saints Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. This is just one of the many sights you will see when you join us for our Reformation Tour of Germany.

This trip emphasizes the rich history of the Reformation, and you will see firsthand the sites where ordinary men and women took stands for their faith that often cost them everything. Combine this with tours of quaint villages, beautiful cathedrals and spectacular scenery, and you have an unforgettable journey that will encourage your heart and deepen your faith.

Join us on a pilgrimage of a lifetime,

Michael S. Reilly

We will also visit the Luther House, acclaimed as the best of all the Reformation museums in the world.  Continue on to Leipzig where we see the famous Thomas Church, where Martin Luther preached in 1539 and Johann Sebastian Bach served as organist and choirmaster. We will also visit the Bach House and museum as well as the home of composer Felix Mendelssohn. Continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

We will visit the houses of his birth and death, as well as the Church of St. Peter and Paul, where he was christened. We will also see St. Andrew’s church where he preached his last sermon, and the lovely St. Anne’s Church with its famous Biblical scenes hewn in stone. Then it’s on to Erfurt, where Luther studied at the University before becoming a monk.
