Session 1 Upon arrival in Tel Aviv our guide who will be with us for the entire time we are touring the Holy Land meets us. Board our bus and travel to Jaffa ancient port where Jonah left prior to being swallowed by the whale. Here is where Peter had his house top experience. Continue through Tel Aviv, the largest city in Israel. We start our day with a stop at Caesarea, capital of the Roman procurators of Judea. Visit the Roman port, Crusader's Moat, Roman theater and aqueduct. Continue to Muhraka on Mount Carmel then proceed to Megiddo to visit the excavations that unearthed 20 different civilizations. Traveling through the Plain of Jezreel, we visit Nazareth, boyhood home of Jesus. Transfer to the hotel in Tiberias for dinner. Session 2 As a special treat we have prepared an Israeli breakfast where you can enjoy culinary delights from the Holy Land. Time is passing and during breakfast we will continue with Session 2. Session 2 starts with a relaxing boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, then visit Tabgha, the Mount of Beatitudes and the River Jordan. We travel via the Crusader fortress of Belvoir along the Rift Valley to Bet Shean, where King Saul and his sons were pinned to the walls. It became the Decapolis Capital and was traveled by Jesus and known as Scythopolis. See the ancient theater, Circus Maximus and Cardo Maximo. Continue to the Golden city of Jerusalem. We will stop and before entering Jerusalem read Psalms 122 and partake of bread and salt. We will have a 45-minute break for lunch before starting Session 3 Session 3 After
our touring is done, we will make a quick stop at one of the finest souvenir
shops in Bethlehem. We will give you the opportunity to order merchandise
from the Holy Land at the same cost as if you were there. Session 5 We enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and see the Cardo and the remains of Nehemiah's Wall on the way to the Western (Wailing) Wall. We visit the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount, the Church of St. Anne, the Pool of Bethesda, Pilate's Judgment Hall, the Chapel of Flagellation, Lithostrotos, and the Arch of Ecce Homo ("Behold the Man"). We follow the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and end our day in the Garden Tomb. It was here that Jesus defeated death. We will remember the Lord's Supper. Throughout the three-hour sessions there will be ample breaks. Every session will have a question time.
